One-Tap SOS

The SOS button is visible on every active ride screen. One tap sends your live GPS location to your saved emergency contacts and to the Eto Rides support team simultaneously.

Real-Time GPS Tracking

Share your live trip with family or friends directly from the app. They see your captain's position and your estimated arrival in real time — no account required on their end.

Verified Captains Only

Every captain completes identity verification, vehicle inspection, and a safety orientation before their first ride. Their photo, name, and vehicle number are shown before you board.

OTP-Verified Ride Start

Your captain cannot mark a ride as started without the OTP shown in your app. This prevents wrong pickups and ensures you are always matched with the correct captain.

Ride History & Invoices

Every completed trip is logged with route, fare, captain details, and a downloadable invoice. If anything is disputed, your history is the record.

In-App Dispute Resolution

Report an issue directly from your trip history. Our support team reviews every report within one business day and follows up via WhatsApp or phone.

Common questions

What do I do if my captain doesn't arrive?

Wait 3 minutes past the ETA shown in the app. If the captain hasn't arrived, tap 'Cancel Ride' (no fee applies within the grace window) and rebook. You can also contact support via WhatsApp.

Can I share my trip with someone who doesn't have the app?

Yes. Tap 'Share Trip' on the active ride screen to send a live tracking link via WhatsApp, SMS, or any messaging app. The link works in a browser — no app needed for the recipient.

What if I feel unsafe during a ride?

Tap the red SOS button at any point. Your GPS location is sent to your emergency contacts and our support team immediately. You can also ask the captain to pull over at any time.

How do I report a captain's behaviour?

After the ride, tap 'Rate Trip', then 'Report an Issue'. For urgent matters during a ride, use the SOS button. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.

My fare looks wrong — what should I do?

All fares are distance-based flat rates with no surge. If the fare charged differs from the estimate, contact us via WhatsApp with your trip ID and we'll investigate within one business day.

I left something in the auto-rickshaw. How do I get it back?

Open your trip history, find the ride, and tap 'Lost Item'. We'll send your contact details to the captain so they can arrange a return. You can also contact support directly.
