2.7 "Captains" means independent third-party service providers who perform transport or logistics services booked through the platform.

6.3 Eto Rides may retain, use, or disclose personal data where required to comply with law, respond to lawful process, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Captains, and the platform.
9. Data Retention
§9.1 Eto Rides retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and platform policies, and prevent fraud and misuse.
9.2 Retention periods may vary by category and purpose, including account records, trip records, support communications, and safety-related evidence. Where a specific retention period is not stated, Eto Rides retains personal data for the minimum duration required to fulfil the relevant purpose, subject to applicable law.
9.3 Following account closure, Eto Rides may retain limited data where required for compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, system integrity, or lawful backup obligations, and will restrict such retained data to the extent reasonably practicable.
10. Security
