Eto Rides provides goods delivery and passenger transport services through our e-rickshaw app platform. Our Shipping Policy covers details for goods transport, pickup and delivery timings, service limitations, and terms for cancellations and refunds. By booking a delivery service through Eto Rides, you agree to abide by this Shipping Policy

SECTION 1: SERVICE AREAS

Eto Rides operates in select service areas as outlined on our app. Service availability depends on location, local regulations, and the availability of e-rickshaws within the specified area. Please verify that your pickup and delivery locations fall within our operational zones when booking.

SECTION 2: DELIVERY TERMS

Eto Rides offers two types of delivery services:

  • Goods-Only Delivery: Delivery of goods without any accompanying passenger.
  • Goods with an Accompanying Person: Delivery of goods with one accompanying person.

When scheduling a delivery, you must specify the type of service, provide accurate descriptions of goods, and include any special handling instructions.

SECTION 3: PICKUP AND DELIVERY TIME

  • Scheduling: Pickup and delivery times are based on availability in your area and are estimated when the booking is confirmed.
  • Real-Time Tracking: Users can track e-rickshaw location and estimated time of arrival via the app.
  • Delays: In cases of unexpected delays (e.g., due to traffic or weather), we will notify you through the app and make every effort to complete the delivery as promptly as possible.

SECTION 4: PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

For safety and legal reasons, certain items are restricted or prohibited for transport, including but not limited to:

  • Hazardous or flammable materials
  • Illegal items or contraband
  • Perishable goods without prior notice

Users are responsible for ensuring goods comply with all regulations. Eto Rides reserves the right to cancel delivery if prohibited items are found, and no refund will be provided in such cases.

SECTION 5: PRICING AND FEES

  • Delivery Fees: Calculated based on distance, item weight, and service type, with all fees visible prior to booking confirmation.
  • Additional Charges: For oversized items or deliveries requiring special handling, additional charges may apply. You will be notified of these charges before booking.
  • Cancellation Fees: If a delivery is cancelled after dispatch, a cancellation fee will apply as per our Refund Policy.

SECTION 6: CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations are allowed under the following conditions:

  • Before Dispatch: Cancellations made before the driver is dispatched are eligible for a full refund.
  • After Dispatch: Cancellations after dispatch may incur a fee as per our Refund policy.
  • Refund Requests: All refund requests must be submitted within 30 days. Refunds are only available in cases where delivery conditions are not met (e.g., excessive delay or driver unavailability).

SECTION 7: LOSS OR DAMAGE

While we take utmost care in handling all goods, Eto Rides is not liable for loss or damage to items that are not properly secured, packaged, or disclosed to us prior to transport. Users are advised to ensure fragile or high-value items are securely packed.
